Omar Jomeen
Omar is a health planner on the Leicester Pathway PFI where he is taking responsibility for one of the hospitals involved in the scheme. Before joining SDC Omar was the lead health planner working for the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Hospitals Development Project, before joining SDC Consulting. The scheme is a 4th wave private finance initiative procurement with a capital cost of £200m. Key roles included the development of the clinical output specifications, management of the health planning team, project management, group facilitation and liaison with external advisors. There was also a requirement to represent clinical planning within the broader context of the scheme, linking with Acute and Primary Care Trust Directors alongside all other key stakeholders. Omar has a clinical background, he is a nurse.
